We took the back entrance into Good Harbor, one of Gloucester’s most popular beaches. Actually, it is probably the favorite beach in all of Cape Ann, which is comprised of coastal towns of northeastern Massachusetts.

We thought we were sneakily getting free parking. But the signs warning not to park between may1 and September 15th were not any sort of exaggeration. I’ll be paying a cool $45 parking ticket ASAP 😒.
Lesson learned. I’ll use the parking lot and pay the price henceforth.
Other than that it was a BEAUTIFUL beach day and perfect for the end-of-summer blues that sometimes creep up on me.
